Downloading Premium Lists All Premium Lists are provided in Adobe Acrobat format (.pdf), version 5.0. To Download a Premium List, click on the underlined file name. The file will be loaded to your PC for viewing/printing. If you wish to save the file on your hard drive, click with the RIGHT hand mouse button and your browser will prompt you to save the file locally. You will need the Adobe "READER" (version 5.0) loaded on your PC to download and read/print the premium lists. The Adobe "READER" is available free of charge from the Adobe Web Site. NO space for Spectators at Indoor Trials Our apologies. We have limited crating/seating space at our indoor trials (March, April, May, September, October and November, 2012), therefore, we are unable to welcome Spectators. We have two outdoor events in 2012: an Agility Fun Match Fundraiser for Aussie Rescue on June 16 and a CKC all-breed Agility Trial on July 14/15 where we are ALWAYS happy to welcome spectators! **** |

Dream Fields Volunteer Appreciation Day! Our volunteers are very important to us as we cannot host agility trials without them. Once a year we recognize our volunteers at our "Dream Fields Volunteer Appreciation Day". The 2012 Volunteer Appreciation Aution will be held on SATURDAY October 6th - MARK THIS DATE ON YOUR CALENDAR! The Volunteer Appreciation Day is an afternoon where the volunteers bring their dogs and participate in some serious "play", partake of gourmet gastric offerings, and go home with both recognition and rewards! The Volunteer Appreciation Day is our way of saying "Thank You" to the volunteers who've helped run our agility trials over the past year. Every time a volunteer staffs a position at a trial, he/she is given "Dream Backs". These tokens are carefully hoarded for the AUCTION! Attendance at the Volunteer Appreciation Day is limited to those people who've volunteered at a trial in the current year (spouses and friends are welcome but must pay a cover fee of $10, and may not bring their dogs). The Volunteer Appreciation Day starts with a variety of "silly" games that the volunteers play with their dogs to win prizes and peer recognition (one year one of the games required the handler to put a T-Shirt "on" their dog, while wearing Oven Mitts that had pieces of liver and squeakies sewn into them). Who knows what evil challenges we've thought up for this year? This year we're going to run the "agility course" as a Fun Match. The course will be a nested Jumpers course (Starters Advanced & Masters). Everyone will be given two 2-minute slots in the ring to either run the course, or work on a behaviour that needs practice "in the ring", or both! Runs can be timed and scribed (just let us know). And then..... THE AUCTION: many "doggy" items including trialing gear, doggy "stuff" AND several backyard agility obstacles will be auctioned off to the highest bidder. The ONLY legal tender are Dream Backs - real money buys nothing! Bidders may combine their Dream Backs for a better chance at an item - anything goes! The bidding is intense and a GREAT time is had by all. After the Auction there's one last opportunity to turn Dream Backs into goodies by "purchasing" raffle tickets! The raffle table includes everything from soup to nuts (actually it includes a variety of "doggy" items such as tug toys, plush toys, doggy books, leashes, doggy dishes, trialing items (such as whistles and stop watches), etc., etc., etc.). Consider helping at a trial this year and you too will be invited to participate in the Volunteer Appreciation Day! | |
